Week 1 Power Rankings!

FOLLOW ME ON TWITTER @BBpowerrankings

A full week has gone by in the Big Brother world and what a long and drama-filled week it has been. From competitions, to fights, to racist and homophobic comments, to 2 houseguests getting publicly fired from their jobs, and of course, to the first houseguest being evicted from the house. It has definitely been one of the craziest first weeks in Big Brother history and I have a feeling we are in for one of the craziest summers in Big Brother history!

For my power rankings, I have decided to only take into account the events that are aired on CBS and not what happens on the live feeds. Although I would like to say that I am absolutely disgusted by the bigotry that has been shown by some of the houseguests and I really hope something is done about inside the house.

Now for the breakdown of my power rankings!
HOH= +30 points
POV= +25 points
MVP= +20 points
Nominated= -10 points
Haves= +5 points
Havenots= -5 points
Veto used on Nominee= +15 points
I will also be awarding/subtracting additional points to houseguests for different things.

As well, I will be adding/subtracting the points from the following weeks rankings.

DAVID
Last week:16, This week EVICTED

Oh David, just as I predicted, you were the first houseguest to be evicted. You really never stood a chance in the Big Brother house and I have feeling you knew that all along. You stated that you came into the house for a showmance and not the money which only solidifies the fact that you are the dumbest houseguest to walk through the door. I can't say I'm sad to see you go, but I do wish you all the best catching waves and doing whatever else it is that you do and yeah.

JUDD (11-5=6 points)
Last week:15, This week: 15
 Judd, although you didn't move up in the power rankings this week, you have started to grow on me. You were the first person person to figure out who Elissa was with an assist from Candice (+2) but you were also the first person out of the HOH competition (-2). We barely saw you at all this week except for the have/havenot competition where you struggled a little bit. Unfortunately, your team lost and you became a havenot (-5). Hopefully you start to get more screen time because even though you are difficult to understand, you seem like a funny guy.

HELEN (16-5= 11 points)
Last week:9, This week: 14
I am going to keep this short and sweet Helen simply because you were almost non-existent this week. You were also on the losing team in the have/havenot competition (-5) and besides that we only saw you when you were consoling Elissa (+2) and when you began crying during the winegate argument (-2). I still like you, and hopefully we start seeing more of you playing the Big Brother game and less of you crying.

HOWARD (18-5=13 points)
Last week: 4, This week: 13
Another houseguest we barely saw or heard from all week. You were also a havenot for the week (-5) and we heard you, once again, talk about how strong and physical you are. You really seem to like mentioning how big and muscular you are, while at the same time completely sucking at the challenges. I really liked you in my pre-season power rankings, but you are quickly losing me. You are part of the "moving company" alliance, but unfortunately, I don't see that alliance lasting very long.

ANDY (18-5=13 points)
Last week: 6, This week: 12
Andy, you also became a havenot this week (-5) and you also barely got any screen time. You did provide one of my favourite Diary Room sessions though about David not spelling a word in the POV competition. Besides that, you pretty much laid low this week and I think it will be interesting to see what you are capable of in the upcoming weeks assuming you are capable of something....which I really hope you are.

JESSIE (18-4=14 points)
Last week: 5, This week: 11
I wasn't your biggest fan during my pre-season power rankings, and after the first week of BB, I am even less of a fan. First of all, you are either delusional or just plain crazy when you state that you are "the prettiest girl in the house"(-2). sorry to break it to you, but you're not even close to being the prettiest girl in the house. You were a have this week (+5) but you were also nominated for eviction (-10). You got lucky though, because your fellow houseguests clearly don't see you as a threat and you managed to survive eviction (+3).

AARYN (13+2=15 points)
Last week: 12, This week: 10
It pains me greatly to award you any points and to see you move up in the power rankings. Although I am not taking any of your racist and homophobic comments into account, I still think you are a huge bitch (-5) who needs to be taken down a notch. You did manage to be the last girl hanging in the HOH competition (+2) and you were a have this week (+5). I couldn't be happier that your closest ally was evicted this week and I hope you go absolutely crazy and self-evict. *fingers-crossed*

JEREMY (12+5=17 points)
Last week: 14, This week: 9
Again, it pains me to see you move up in the power rankings, especially since you are such a douchebag (-5). You did do well in the HOH competition and you won the "never not pass"(+10). Obviously Big Brother has invested in you as the villain of the season and you have managed to live up to that role. I'm hoping you are evicted sooner rather than later because I can't stand seeing you on my television screen.

SPENCER (12+6= 18 points)
Last week: 13, This week: 8
You still remind me a lot of Adam (BB13) in the fact that I don't like you, but I don't hate you either. You were a have this week (+5) and you also place the winning can for your team (+1). Besides that, you laid low this week and managed to be included in the "powerhouse" alliance that is the moving company. You bore me, but you don't bother me so I don't really care all that much about you right now. I still predict you will stick around for a while. I guess we'll wait and see what happens.

ELISSA (14+8=22 points)
Last week: 11, This week: 7
I surprisingly like you a lot. I am very happy that you managed to survive eviction this week (+3) and I really hope you are able to stick around for awhile. you were a havenot this week (-5) but America voted you as the first BBMVP (+20)! you made the right choice by nominating David. Unfortunately, the POV was used and you were put up as the replacement nominee (-10). It seems you have some people on your side right now, but I'm not sure how long you have until your luck runs out.

GINAMARIE (17+6=23 points)
Last week: 7, This week: 6
GinaMarie, I am giving (+1) for being the first houseguest to enter the BB house because I would be pretty excited if I was the first one. You started the first night off full of energy and you were very loud, but since then you have seemed to fade a little. You were a have this week (+5) and you managed to survive the first week in the house. I am starting to not like you as much as I did pre-season, but I think there is still hope for you. We'll have to wait and see.

KAITLYN (18+6=24 points)
Last week: 3, This week: 5
I am still pretty much in love with Kaitlyn. Although I HATE the fact that she decided to hook up with Jeremy of all people. I am afraid that will cause her any chance she had at winning the game. She was a have this week (+5) and she placed the winning can for her team (+1). I'm really hoping that Kaitlyn starts to make better choices and moves away from Aaryn and Jeremy because they are hurting her game. Sadly, I don't see that happening.

AMANDA (19+7=26 points)
Last week: 2, This week: 4
Amanda, I actually like you a lot more than I expected too. You have already provided some hilarious Diary Room moments and you seem to be playing the game pretty well. You were a have this week (+5) and you also made out with McCrae....You clearly have a huge personality and will not back down from a fight. This will make the summer very entertaining for sure. Thank-you for calling Aaryn a bitch in your goodbye message to David (+2) because somebody needed to. Now if you could just say it to her face!

CANDICE (17+11=28 points)
Last week: 8, This week: 3

You have pleasantly surprised me Candice. You went from being a have (+5) to being nominated (-10) to being taken off the block by McCrae (+15). You also get a (+1) for assisting Judd in the discovery of Elissa's identity. I like you because you're sassy and not afraid to stand up for yourself. I think you have a lot more potential than people may have thought you did. And I am so sorry you have been the centre of your fellow houseguests racism and bigotry. You don't deserve it and neither do the other houseguests.

NICK (21+7=30 points)
Last week: 1, This week: 2
You are playing this game exactly how I expected you to play it. You seem to have created a strong alliance for now, but I'm just not sure how long it is going to last. You came in 2nd place in the HOH and managed to successfully make a deal with McCrae to keep you safe for the week (+2). You were also have for the week (+5). I think you are playing a good game right now, but it is only a matter of time before the houseguest see what a huge threat you are.

MCCRAE (15+58=73 points)
Last week: 10, This week: 1
The pizza boy delivers! McCrae had a crazy successful week and he seems to be a force to be reckoned with. He surprisingly managed to win the first HOH (+30) and then he went on to unintentionally win the POV(+25). Then to top it all of, he manages to get a little action from Amanda (+3). McCrae seems to be in the best position right now because he didn't make a lot of enemies this week and he is in a strong all-male alliance. Should be interesting he copes without the power this week.

There you have it, my week one power rankings for Big Brother 15! Let me know what you think by leaving a comment below! Check back every week after the eviction for a new power rankings!

Most Likely To...

Follow me on Twitter @BBpowerrankings

With the Big Brother 15 premiere quickly approaching, I thought I would write a blog about who/what I think certain houseguests are most likely to do while in the house.

Most Likely To....

Be in a showmance:
 I chose surfer boy David and Southern Belle, Aaryn as the most likely to be in a showmance. Assuming that either of them last past the first week, I think they will both be equally attracted to each other. I don't see the attraction being anything more than purely physical, specially since I don't think David is capable of conversing on any intellectual level.

Most Likely To...

Get in the most arguments:

I chose alpha-male Jeremy for the guys and loud-mouthed Amanda for the girls. Jeremy is 100% an alpha-male and he will be the guy that will blow up as soon as he hears about anyone throwing his name around. In Amanda's case, I think she is a very smart girl and will probably only get into arguments if she is provoked. Now it really just depends on how much it takes to provoke her.

Most Likely To...

Win first HOH:

Out of the guys, I think Nick will be the most likely to win the first HOH and that is simply because I think he is going to try to play the game too hard, too fast and will want to be in control. Now it just depends on if he would be able to keep that control following his HOH reign. I chose Elissa for the girls because if she is anything like her sister, than she won't be afraid to have the power and use it to her advantage.

Most Likely To...

Cry first:
 I chose Andy and Jessie as the two houseguests most likely to be the first to shed a tear. I picked Andy simply because the rest of the guys in the house are very masculine and probably won't come close to crying. Plus, Andy seems like a very emotional person in general. As for Jessie, I think she already has so much riding on this her summer in the Big Brother house considering she just lost her job, I think she is going to be very emotional in the house.

Most Likely To...

Be a floater in a season of no floaters:

Apparently this summer, there will be no floaters in the Big Brother house. I don't really believe that is entirely possible. If it were though, I would choose Spencer and GinaMarie as the most likely to still manage to float. Spencer because he doesn't seem like a physical, strategic, or social threat so he will take on the floater strategy and GinaMarie because she seems to be a very social person and will just go to where the power is.

Most Likely To...

Annoy their fellow houseguests:

I chose David and GinaMarie as the most annoying houseguests for similar reasons. The way they speak. I don't think I could ever carry on a conversation with David without completely zoning out. he just seems so dull and a little brain dead probably because of all the sunlight and THC. GinaMarie on the other hand just constantly sounds like she is constantly stuffed-up due to her Italian/Staten Island accent. Even though I like her, I'm not sure I could listen to her for a 100 days.

Most Likely To...

Be a pawn-star:
 I chose Judd and Helen as the two houseguests most likely to be a pawn star. Neither of them come off as a threat so I think the other houseguests will see them as an easy nomination in order to get a bigger target out of the house. I think Judd would take being a pawn easier than Helen would because Helen seems to be a lot more opinionated and would probably do everything to avoid being used as a pawn.

Most Likely To...

Surprise us all:
 I think right now a lot of people have McCrae Olson pegged as the underdog and he's going to be the Ian Terry of BB15. However, I have a feeling Andy is going to surprise us all by being a very cunning and manipulative player and most likely make a lot of big, game-changing moves this summer. As for Kaitlyn, yes, I am attracted to her and am possibly already her #1 fan, but I can really see her surprising us all this summer. I think she has the potential to take control of the game make it very far, which I really hope she does.

So there you have it, my most likely to's for the Big Brother 15 houseguests. Tune in this Wednesday, June 26th on CBS to find out if any of my predictions are accurate.

Pre-Season Power Rankings & First Impressions

Follow me on Twitter @BBpowerrankings

If you're a hardcore Big Brother fan much like myself, then you would agree that a new season of Big Brother is the most exciting time of the year! We get brand new houseguests, crazy twists, and of course Julie Chen's hair full of Big Brother secrets.

Now Big Brother 15 is only 4 DAYS away and the brand new houseguests were finally revealed a couple days ago. I have decided to begin with the Pre-Season Power Rankings which are based solely on the cast bios on CBS.com and interviews done with Big Brother Access.

For the pre-season power rankings, I am going to award points to each houseguest based on these specific criteria:
1. First impression
2. Likability
3. Strategy going into the house
4. Ability to talk on camera
5. Chances of winning

Once the game actually begins the criteria will change, but for now, LET'S GET STARTED!

16) David Girton-27-Reminds me of Braden (BB11)
First Impression= 1/5
Likability= 2/5
Strategy= 0/5
Camera=1/5
Winning= 1/5
Total=5/25
-So when I first saw David my first impression was that he looked liked a stoner. After reading his bio I'm pretty sure I lost about 10 IQ points and another 20 after watching his interview. He has ZERO strategy and seems like he has absolutely no concept of the game and the only thing he has going for him is that he may be good at physical competitions. I'm predicting he is out very early.

15) Judd Daughtery-26-Reminds me of Lane (BB12)
First Impression= 2/5
Likability= 3/5
Strategy= 2/5
Camera= 3/5
Winning= 1/5
Total= 11/25
-When I first saw Judd's photo I thought he just looked very boring and nothing really stood out for me. After reading his bio and watching his interview , something that did stand out was that Judd is not the sharpest tool in the shed. He claims to be a "hardcore" fan of Big Brother, but at the same time he lists JoJo (BB14) as one of his favourite houseguests...this worries me a little. Not only that, but he also states that he wants to outplay Will (BB2/7) and Dan's (BB10/14) games. HA! good luck with that. I think Judd has set his expectations a little too high and will probably be an easy target for eviction.

14) Jeremy McGuire-23-Reminds me of Matt (BB9)
First Impression= 3/5
Likability= 3/5
Strategy= 3/5
Camera=1/5
Winning=2/5
Total= 12/25
-Jeremy is your typical young, egotistical, hard-headed jock who thinks he is better than everybody. Although Jeremy has NEVER seen Big Brother, you know he is going to go into the house acting like he owns the place which will eventually lead to his demise. He also seems very boring/cocky on camera, so hopefully he is capable of exuding somewhat of a personality once he gets in the house. If he is able to somehow make it all the way to the end,  then he may have a slight chance at winning. but I doubt it.

13) Spencer Clawson-31-Reminds me of Adam (BB13)
First Impression= 2/5
Likability= 3/5
Strategy= 1/5
Camera= 4/5
Winning= 2/5
Total= 12/25
-The fact that Spencer already reminds me of Adam from BB13 gives me very little hope for him already. I think he will be more likeable than Adam ever was, but I don't see him excelling in competitions. I think that Spencer is going to have to rely on his social game a lot in order to get him further. However, I feel like the other houseguests probably won't see him as much of a threat and will keep him around because of it.

12) Aaryn Gries-22-Reminds me of Jordan (BB12)

First Impression= 3/5
Likability= 3/5
Strategy= 3/5
Camera=2/5
Winning=2/5
Total= 13/25
-The one thing that I noticed about Aaryn was that she is really able to sell herself on paper, but she isn't as capable on camera. There is nothing about her aside from her looks that attracts me to her and I'm predicting she will be an early casualty. Although she does remind me of Jordan, a former winner of Big Brother, I don't see her having what it takes to last in the house.

11) Elissa Slater-27-Reminds me of Rachel (BB12/13)...obviously
First Impression= 2/5
Likability= 3/5
Strategy= 4/5
Camera=3/5
Winning=3/5
Total= 14/25
-I am not, nor will I ever be a fan of Rachel. However, I'm not going to assume her sister Elissa is the exact same. I feel like there is a small ray of hope for Elissa to be a likeable character and if she makes it to the end, actually have a chance at winning. I think that she is going to be one of the more physically strong women, and will dominate in challenges. She will be at a HUGE disadvantage if the house figures out who she is though. All I can say is she better be good at disguising that laugh.

10) McCrae Olson-23-Reminds me of a long-haired Ian (BB14)
First Impression= 2/5
Likability= 4/5
Strategy=2/5
Camera=3/5
Winning= 4
Total= 15/25
-If McCrae is anything like Ian from BB14 then I'm already not a fan. Although he may not appeal to me, I do believe he is going to be one of the more likeable houseguests, especially with the ladies. McCrae plans to base his strategy off of James from BB6/7, although I am personally a fan of James, he did only come in 7th place both times so I'm not so sure he is inheriting the best strategy. However, if he is able to make that strategy work and make it to the end, then I think he will have a good shot at winning.

9) Helen Kim-37-Reminds me Of Jun (BB4)
First Impression= 4/5
Likability= 3/5
Strategy= 3/5
Camera= 3/5
Winning= 3/5
Total= 16/25
-The only reason Helen reminds me of Jun, Winner of BB4 is obviously because she is Korean. I definitely don't see Helen going all the way like Jun did, but I think she will make it far. I believe the fact that she is the oldest, is married, and is a mother will work in her advantage because the other houseguests won't see her as a huge threat and will see her as a trustworthy ally. Even though she is only ranked at #9, I am definitely rooting for Helen.

8) Candice Stewart-29- Reminds me of Monet (BB12)
First Impression= 4/5
Likability= 4/5
Strategy= 4/5
Camera= 3/5
Winning= 2/5
Total= 17/25
-For whatever reason, there is something about Candice that just screams "JURY MEMBER." While I think she will excel in competitions, and may even play a good social game, the strategic side of her will end up being her downfall in my opinion. Candice just seems 'too nice' to play Big Brother and for that reason, I see her choosing the winner, rather than being chosen as the winner. Hopefully she can prove me wrong though.

7) GinaMarie Zimmerman-32-Reminds me of Michelle (BB10)
First Impression= 4/5
Likability= 4/5
Strategy= 2/5
Camera= 4/5
Winning= 3/5
Total= 17/25
-I am PRAYING that GinaMarie provides us with some golden diary room sessions this summer. There is definitely something apart from her looks that attracts me to her and I am  going to be rooting for her this summer so hopefully she doesn't disappoint. The one thing that worries me is that part of her strategy is to "try to be smart," so I definitely don't see her winning many mental competitions. If GinaMarie were to make it to the end which I'm not so sure I see happening, I think she has a decent chance at winning. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens!

6) Andy Herren-26- Reminds me of Ragan (BB12)
First Impression= 2/5
Likability= 4/5
Strategy= 4/5
Camera= 5/5
Winning= 3/5
Total= 18/25
-I didn't start with a good first impression of Andy just based on his photo, but after reading his bio and watching his bio, I actually like him. He is definitely going to be one of the most likeable houseguests and I also see him being a very good liar. Although he is going into the house with a good strategy, I feel like it is way too detailed and planned out and it most likely won't work the way he wants it to. The only reason I didn't give him more points for his chances of winning is because of the history BBUS has with gay men making to the final two. It just doesn't happen. Hopefully he can change that this season!

5) Jessie Kowalski-25- Reminds me of Michelle (BB11)
First Impression= 4/5
Likability= 3/5
Strategy= 3/5
Camera= 4/5
Winning= 4/5
Total= 18/25
-I'm not sure why, but I find Jessie to be a little annoying when speaking. I really want to like her, but I'm just not there yet so hopefully that changes once the season begins. I may not be a fan yet, but I do think she is one of the smartest girls in the house and definitely has the potential to win it all. The fact that she is a super-fan makes me like her a little more and she also seems like the type that isn't afraid to make big game moves and maybe stab some people in the back. Can't wait to see what she does in the house.

4) Howard Overby-29- Reminds me of Marvin (BB5)
First Impression= 4/5
Likability= 5/5
Strategy= 3/5
Camera= 4/5
Winning= 2/5
Total= 18/25
-I really like Howard. I think he has a great personality and is going to be very likeable among the houseguests and viewers. On top of that, I think he will dominate in both physical and mental competitions which will definitely make him a huge threat. The one thing that worries me a little is that he is super religious which, unless he can put that aside like Dan (BB10/14), I don't know if he is going to be able to lie and deceive people when he needs to and he may rely too much on his faith and God. Although I would like to see him make it to the end, I predict he will be one of the last jury members.

3) Kaitlyn Barnaby-23- Reminds me of Alison (BB4)
First Impression= 5/5
Likability= 4/5
Strategy= 3/5
Camera= 3/5
Winning= 3/5
Total= 18/25
-I'm not even sure why she reminds me of Alison (BB4) but she does. One thing I do know is that I instantly fell in love with her when I saw her name and photo. To be completely honest though, I was a little disappointed when I watched her interview. I was really hoping she would be this devious, back-stabbing bitch that I so badly want to see in the house, but instead she claims to be America's freakin' sweetheart! I still really like her and I'm hoping she gets a little mean this summer.

2) Amanda Zuckerman-28- Reminds me of JoJo (BB14)
First Impression= 5/5
Likability= 4/5
Strategy= 3/5
Camera= 4/5
Winning= 3/5
Total= 19/25
-The reason I had such a good first impression of Amanda is because she looks like someone who would dominate the house and cause a lot of drama. After reading her bio and watching her interview, I still believe that. I hate that she reminds me of JoJo from BB14 but she does, but I'm sure Judd will appreciate it. She does come off as a little boring but I can definitely see her getting into some heated arguments. I think that if she can manage to make it to the end without ruffling too many feathers, then she may have a shot at winning.

1) Nick Uhas-28- Reminds me of Dan (BB10/14)
First Impression= 5/5
Likability= 4/5
Strategy= 3/5
Camera= 5/5
Winning= 4/5
Total= 21/25
-In my opinion, Nick seems to be the most well-rounded of all the houseguests. I think he is going be very good at competitions while at the same time playing good social and strategic games. I do think that he can come off as a little cocky though which may work against him if he isn't able to tone it down. The other houseguests may however see him as the biggest threat in the house and try to get rid of him early. At the moment, he is my pick to win it all.

So there you have it. The pre-season rankings for Big Brother 15 which airs this Wednesday, June 26, 2013! I will continue to blog throughout the season with weekly power rankings, thoughts, and predictions so make sure to keep checking my blog!

Before I sign off of my first post, I thought I would share my personal top 5 houseguests who I will be rooting for this summer. That is unless I end up completely disliking them once the season actually begins. They are:

Kaitlyn Barnaby

Nick Uhas

Howard Overby

GinaMarie Zimmerman

Helen Kim
